On May 11, 2006 ICANN’s (Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers) board voted 9 to 5 against the proposal, which would have led to the creation of a .xxx domain suffix for pornography sites but today it seems like they have reviewd their decision and they plan to create seprate .xxx tld for web porns. Its a measure to clean up and have seprate tld for webporns but Porn industry rejects the proposal as it would be easy for various governments and even private companies to filter out the .xxx tld.

want to create lots of subdomains without server usage and without adding subdomains to your control panel ? well you can do it on your own if you have dedicated server by enabling WILDCARD DNS if dont have server ask your hosting provider to do it.

Follow the steps

• Login to WHM for Cpanel
• Edit DNS Zone for the domain you want to enable wildcard dns
• Add New Entry
  Domain: *
  TTL : 14400
  Record Type “A” and Submit it
• Login via SSH to your dedicated server
• Type :
  cd /etc/httpd/conf/
  pico httpd.conf
• Find the domain name that you want to enable wildcard dns
• You will find something similar to this on http.conf
  
  ServerAlias xxxxxxxx.com
  ServerAdmin xxxxxxx@xxxxxxx.com
  DocumentRoot /home/xxxxxxx/public_html
  BytesLog domlogs/xxxxxxxxx.com-bytes_log
  ServerName www.xxxxxxxxxx.com
  User xxxxxx
  Group xxxxxx
  CustomLog /usr/local/apache/xxxxlogs/xxxxxxx.com combined
  ScriptAlias /cgi-bin/ /home/xxxxxxx/public_html/cgi-bin/
  
• Now edit line
  ServerAlias xxxxxxx.com
  to
  ServerAlias: *.xxxxxxx.com xxxxxxx.com
• Exit Using Ctrl+X
• Overwrite the file and type
• # service httpd restart

Now wildcard dns is enabled on your server

Are you seller ? sold product for $500 and got chargebacked ? you must understand that you will be at loss. Here are few ideas of how to protect yourself from fraudulent orders.

• Never Give Instant Download or access or ship immediately.

• Check if the Transaction Ip address location matches with the credit card statement address location.you can use whois.sc just type whois.sc/ipaddresshere. (Geolocation)
• Telephone and ask the buyer for transaction verification. Use Skype it costs you pennies for international voice calls.
• If using paypal never accecpt payments from un-verified buyers.
• Ask the buyers to fax any ID proofs for verification.
• Possibly ask the buyer to send money via Bank Transfer or Cheque.
• Avoid Orders from free email accounts like gmail,yahoo or msn
• Deny orders from “High Risk Countries” According to a ClearCommerce survey, the top 12 international sources for online fraud are Ukraine, Indonesia, Yugoslavia, Lithuania, Egypt, Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey, Russia, Pakistan, Malaysia, and Israel.
• Deny orders from proxy ip address.
• Check whether the phone number is valid and located within the correct ZIP code.

This could seriously help in preventing fraudulent orders . Happy Selling

Windows Vista Final is out …but the bad news is its pirated or stolen one of my friend showed a russian website with links to download windows vista final (Microsoft Windows Vista Final [Final] [2006] [2.7Gb]) and MS office 2007 (Microsoft Office 2007 Enterprise - WiNK) …but i cant confirm since i dont have any intention to download it bcos my machine dosent have capacity to run vista lol. dont ask me for links. Vista is about to release on jan 30th 2007. but i belive microsoft has already distributed to dell,hp etc so might be stolen from there

ehh having photographs on your profile posed up as drinking or with your boyfriend or girlsfriend , dating,adulting around ? hmmm yea there are chances that it could get abused. there are few cases reported already in india. A guy who is doing Bachelor of Management Studies created his classmates profile and uploaded images. The images were manupliated and were offensive !…another case which was flashed in CNN IBN few days back stating that a Girl photos were misused who was about to get married. so just think twice before uploading images to your album.

Here are few tips before orkuting or in any social networking sites.

• Dont upload any of your Photographs to your profile.
• If your friends do have your photos on their profile better ask them to remove it.
• Dont give out your email id publicly in your profile.
• Dont give up your mobile or telephone numbers in public.
• Dont Click on any unwanted urls posted on your scrape bookz. (Virus Might be loaded to your computer)
• Ignore anonymous or unwanted “Hi” or “Your are looking good. can i be your friend ? ” scrapes.
• If you are parents and your kids are in orkut or myspace or other social networking sites then watch your kids scrape book. Social Networking sites are also used for dating & adulting. have an eye on their activities. There are high probablity that your child will be abused. Its recommended that you delete your Kids Account
• Never give out your passwords to your friends. He/She might sneak in and post unwanted messages.
• Also Report an Profile if they are abusing you.

As i said you people few days back that iam kinda buzy with some page generation project. Myself and my friend Abi have started the development of the project a week back and I named it as PageOmatrix . I cant give technical aspects & features of the project. One good news is that it will have page generation with or without cloaking and we are also trying to include Content generation for it. Project is expected to be completed in end of december or maybe in mid Jan 2007.

Current Status : Not for sales ! Reason: It does more than i expected !
