The Ministry of Company Affairs of India launched a new platform called as CORE (Consumer Online Resource & Empowerment Center) to file complaints and resolve it through online. From what i have read from their site quickly here is a procedure of how it works.
- Consumer files a complaint using online form.
- Consumer contact details is verified and authenticated.
- Complaint forwarded to Complaint manager for legitimacy of complaint.
- Copy is forwarded to Brand provider.
- When response is made by Brand provider it is posted on CORE site.
- Consumer can give feedback of response.
It also seems they have already resolved many complaints. You can read consumers success stories here. Also you can view published complaints here. This type of platform to resolve complaints should not be limited to consumer disputes but also to Police Departments in India not to resolve complaints but to address people’s grievances. Now make sure you use CORE to resolve your consumer disputes.

You better mind your words when talking to someone on Internet. An Insult Chatroom turned violent when Kevin Whitrick,42, killed himself while being watched by others on a web cam. Kevin used Paltalk, which urged users in the chatroom to insult each others. He hanged himself while some internet users urged him on and others tried to stop him. The Chatroom was banned after Whitrick’s death. The Prosecution said it would not be possible to level charges against any individual since Whitrick was using an internet chatroom with a number of other people at the time of his death and also belived to be first Internet suicide case. Whitrick had a history of depression. Now the question arises Should the Internet be policed ? NO.
