ehh having photographs on your profile posed up as drinking or with your boyfriend or girlsfriend , dating,adulting around ? hmmm yea there are chances that it could get abused. there are few cases reported already in india. A guy who is doing Bachelor of Management Studies created his classmates profile and uploaded images. The images were manupliated and were offensive !…another case which was flashed in CNN IBN few days back stating that a Girl photos were misused who was about to get married. so just think twice before uploading images to your album.

Here are few tips before orkuting or in any social networking sites.

• Dont upload any of your Photographs to your profile.
• If your friends do have your photos on their profile better ask them to remove it.
• Dont give out your email id publicly in your profile.
• Dont give up your mobile or telephone numbers in public.
• Dont Click on any unwanted urls posted on your scrape bookz. (Virus Might be loaded to your computer)
• Ignore anonymous or unwanted “Hi” or “Your are looking good. can i be your friend ? ” scrapes.
• If you are parents and your kids are in orkut or myspace or other social networking sites then watch your kids scrape book. Social Networking sites are also used for dating & adulting. have an eye on their activities. There are high probablity that your child will be abused. Its recommended that you delete your Kids Account
• Never give out your passwords to your friends. He/She might sneak in and post unwanted messages.
• Also Report an Profile if they are abusing you.
